World Wide Apartments

Our story

A simpler, safer way to book a Mediterranean holiday

We started World Wide Apartments to take the guesswork out of booking a coastal holiday: the best stays, at the best price, with none of the worry about where your money goes.

We are a London-based accommodation specialist with a single focus: hand-picked holiday apartments and villas across Sardinia, the Italian coast and Sicily. Rather than list everything everywhere, we work closely with the homeowners we know and trust, so every stay on our site is one we would happily book ourselves.

Because we deal directly with owners and resorts, we can keep prices keen and pass the savings on. The more we sell, the better our rates become, and the better the deal you get.

Most importantly, when you book with us your money is held in trust and only paid to the property when you travel. It is a small detail that makes a big difference to your peace of mind, and it is at the heart of how we work.

Behind the site is a small team who genuinely know these coastlines, from the quiet coves of north-west Sardinia to the granite coves of the Costa Smeralda. Tell us what you are looking for and we will point you to the right beach, the right town and the right stay.

Paul Walker-Dendle

Founder & CEO · five decades in travel and aviation

Paul has built and sold six travel companies, including Avro Plc, which he started in 1984 with two desks and four phones and grew to £140 million in turnover and 1.25 million passengers a year before its sale to the Monarch Airlines group.

World Wide Apartments, launched in 2022, applies the same playbook to holiday stays: negotiate the best rates directly with homeowners, keep the margin small, and pass the advantage of growing volume straight on to the guest.
